Adrishya is a 20 episode series on Digital Media and Information Literacy (DMIL) produced in 2021. The science fiction drama is based in space where planet Mars has been affected by a mysterious disease and surviving cyborgs find shelter in a barren planet ‘Adrishya.’ They get a chance to establish a social and political system.
Each episode of the Adrishya drama series is designed to address an important MIL issue. The 15 mins drama is followed by a 10 mins interactive discussion.
EPISODE 5: Social Media
The episode discusses benefits of social media but also suggests being cautious of the information shared on it, and the ethics one must follow while posting something online. It also debates the business potential of social media as well as the positive and negative consequences of that including conversations around media ownership.
The series is part of Ideosync’s ‘On Air and Fact Checked’ Initiative where over 20 partner Community Radio stations participated in broadcasting interactive Fact Checking and Media Information and Literacy content after intensive training and collaboration.

Azad Lab (Free To Speak) is a show which discusses issues that are often sidelined by the mainstream but are a cause for much anxiety for young people; Topics include puberty, masculinity, caste, marriage, love, democracy, freedoms etc. Episode producer Tamana Haidri is a girl in her twenties who migrated from Afghanistan to India. She is a creative person who likes to read and write.

Host Tamana shares her understanding of war, its impact on the lives of the migrants and how a human is living with war.

Episode Producer Deepika is a young woman pursuing commerce from Delhi University who lives in Tajpur Pahari. She aims to become a teacher. She is an opinionated woman who raises voice for any injustice she encounters on her way.

Host Deepika talks with Omkari to learn about her 12 year journey in the field of driving. She drives 2 wheeler to 6 wheeler vehicles. Omkari's journey of becoming a driver with responding to society, managing her family and fighting the income gap, she now trains young women to drive.

Episode producer Naazneen, a 21 year old college going girl from Palla, a migrant slum colony in Delhi is vocal about issues revolving and concerning young people like her. This is her second attempt in creating a podcast on the relationships between young people and their parents.
Episode 15: Parents should be friends to their children.
Host Nazneen talks about why it is important for parents to give their children a friendly environment at home so that children can express their concerns and issues to their parents without any hesitation.

Zyada Bolne Wali Aurtein (Women Who Talk Too Much) is a show about women and by women. It showcases their desires and dreams, questioning the limits imposed on them by society - and explores what gender equality and freedom means. Episode Producer Shabrana is a young married woman who is a homemaker. She sees her unfulfilled dreams through the eyes of her daughter whom she wants to provide higher education which she herself was deprived of as she was married of early. She is enthusiastic about working on social issues around her and considers herself as a feminist.
Episode 10: Ladki ki Shaadi ki age limit kyun?
"Why is marriage considered one and all for a woman? Why is marriage considered a major priority in a woman's life so much that her other dreams are left behind? Isn’t it only fair that women should have the right to choose when to get married or not get married at all?
Freedem fellow Shabrana speaks about women experiencing countless pressure from family, neighbors, society etc to get married after reaching a specific age. She discusses how the age-old tradition of getting married at a specific age creates undue pressure on young women who are constantly made to believe that their self worth is only defined by their marriage and not by their career or successes.
