Adrishya is a 20 episode series on Digital Media and Information Literacy (DMIL) produced in 2021. The science fiction drama is based in space where planet Mars has been affected by a mysterious disease and surviving cyborgs find shelter in a barren planet ‘Adrishya.’ They get a chance to establish a social and political system.
Each episode of the Adrishya drama series is designed to address an important MIL issue. The 15 mins drama is followed by a 10 mins interactive discussion.
EPISODE 2: Role Of Media
The episode discusses an Independent media, role of media in the society. The difference between Fact/information and Opinion. Correct information required to access freedom of speech. How information and freedom of speech are related. The need to support and strengthen local media institutions. The series is part of Ideosync’s ‘On Air and Fact Checked’ Initiative where over 20 partner Community Radio stations participated in broadcasting interactive Fact Checking and Media Information and Literacy content after intensive training and collaboration. |

Azad Lab (Free To Speak) is a show which discusses issues that are often sidelined by the mainstream but are a cause for much anxiety for young people; Topics include puberty, masculinity, caste, marriage, love, democracy, freedoms etc. Episode producer Pihu, (name changed as the hosts wants to maintain anonymity) has completed her exam for the 12th standard. She is vocal on issues of gender discrimination happening in her community, Tajpur Pahari. She wants to make a positive change in the attitude of her community members by making podcasts on gender centric issues and works towards initiating dialogue on the issues inside her community by playing the podcast during audio chaupals.
Episode 19: Ladka Aur Ladki Me Bhedbhaav.
“In financial distress my elder brother tries to control us but doesn't take responsibility for us.”
Host Pihu through her story explains that society should not discriminate between girls and boys. She puts forth the dynamics between her siblings and the responsibilities shared between them to explain her opinion.

She aims to become a teacher. She is an opinionated woman who raises voice for any injustice she encounters on her way.

Mohalle Ki Baatein is a show which brings day-to-day stories from the community with an aim to keep the community members updated with their latest needs. This includes motivational stories, new opportunities etc. Episode producer Faryal Jan Azimi, is a 23 year old graduate woman residing in Hauz Rani, Malviya Nagar. She is passionate about make up art. Faryal aspires to become a reporter.
Episode 2: Afghan woman teaches Dari language to Indians.
"There are too much similarities between Dari and Hindi language. Words like 'Mushkil, 'Zyada; 'Sarkari', 'Tanha', 'lekin', and there are many words which are similar in both the languages."
Host Faryal talks with Laila about her journey in teaching Dari language in India. She interviews Laila about her experience, achievements and hurdles in starting her teaching process in India. Faryal also talks with one of her students about her journey in learning Dari.
